EPOXY FLOOR COATING

CONSEAL LS is a low solvent, two part epoxy floor coating for use on industrial floors in medium - high wear areas. It is the economical alternative to CONSEAL LSC or TSF where the abrasion resistance of an epoxy-ceramic coating is not required.

CONSEAL LS is made with high quality epoxy resin and mineral fillers. It has excellent opacity and covering power, is resistant to oil, petrol, diesel fuel, brake fluid and most chemicals, and has good resistance to sunlight.

CONSEAL coatings are supplied with different hardeners for the first and top coats. The first coat hardener adheres tenaciously to old substrates that are not perfectly prepared and the top coat hardener is resistant to sunlight and cures quickly to allow the floor to be put back into use within a day or so, depending on the ambient temperature. CONSEAL LS can be applied in temperatures down to 8oC.

A beautiful finish is easy to achieve with

CONSEAL LS

CONSEAL coatings are manufactured  from the best quality raw materials under an ISO 9001 quality system. They are the result of considerable development work that has produced products of the highest durability, that are easy to apply and are unaffected by cold and damp during application. They can be applied in conditions that would prevent the successful application of many other coatings.

CONSEAL coatings cure to produce a semi- gloss to gloss finish that is sufficiently slip resistant for most dry situations. For wet areas or where maximum slip resistance is required, we have a selection of non-slip additives that can be added to the coating to produce a variety of textures.

CONSEAL LS is easy to use and it can be applied with a roller or by high pressure airless spray equipment.  Although CONSEAL LS will provide good service if applied over conventional coatings it will last longer if it is applied directly to clean, sound substrates. Thick layers of old coatings are best removed with a scrabbler and single pack coatings together with oil and grease can be removed with STRIPPIT OFF oil & grease remover, followed be pressure washing.

Two coats are usually sufficient on non porous substrates but new concrete should be primed with one coat of CONSEAL P and timber with Timberseal P.
