Bottom Areas of Popular GRP Pleasure Craft.

This table shows the approximate underwater area that will require coating during osmosis

repair or prevention work. The area of keels made of  iron or lead are not included.

The amount of anti-corrosive coating and antifouling required for metal keels should be calculated separately.

The areas shown can be entered into the ‘boat bottom area & material quantities calculation form’

to calculate the amount of materials required to coat the bottom of your boat.

Although every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the data we cannot guarantee that it is correct.

We recommend that you check the quoted bottom area by entering your boats dimensions into the area calculation form. If there is a large discrepancy an error is possible.
